SKETCHES: Boffo Airlines presents the ultimate in-flight entertainment: a live vaudeville show starring pilot Tony Randall, copilot Jack Carter, and stewardesses, Leslie Uggams, Linda Lavin and Shirley Jones. The entire cast updates the college musical: the football rallyt becomes a riot and the college queen is the Protest Girl of the Year. Alan King is the moderator for a year-end review of news that the networks ignored. SHORT TAKES: Linda plays Alan's wife, fuming over the jokes he cracks at her expense: Tony Randall and Alan King spoof men's cologne advertising; and Alan, Nipsey Russell, Tony and Jack Carter play political conventioneers. Concluding the broadcast Alan King sings his own version of "Impossible Dream."
