ABC late-evening newscast with Ted Koppel as host. Originally a twenty-minute newscast Monday-Thursday, it was expanded to thirty minutes on January 5th, 1981. On April 3rd, 1981, the show was expanded to include Friday nights and was widely praised for its in-depth analysis of various news issues.
