THIS AIR CHECK WAS SOLD TO THE AMERICAN THEATER WING IN 2002 FILLING A GAP IN THEIR ARCHIVE. SUCH TRANSACTION, ALONG WITH ANOTHER LOST TELEVISION TONY AWARD BROADCAST, SUCH TRANSACTION LED TO THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT BY GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS FOR THE MOST MONEY (FOUR FIGURES) EVER PAID FOR A TELEVISION AUDIO AIR CHECK.
